Former President Donald Trump is struggling to adjust to his presidential opponent’s fundraising figures, and new research into some of his projects shows just how far off he is.
While Trump has declared the Bible to be his favorite book, his new venture is to sell it. The same LLC that Trump uses to sell “God Bless the USA” Bibles for $59. 99 controls his “Never Surrender” sneakers.
But the outside strategies of classical fundraising do not pave the way for a well-stocked war fund.
If he manages to sell the Bibles from his campaign, Trump would have to sell more than 415,000 to reach President Joe Biden’s fundraiser, according to a CNN analysis. Trump is also expected to sell more than 60,000 pairs of his shoes to match the $25 million Biden contributed to a star-studded fundraiser in New York on Thursday.
Last night, Biden joined the fundraising event in New York via former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. For the entire month of February, Trump raised $20 million.
Trump’s endorsement of Bibles constitutes a measure of funding for the crusade, according to the website, which says the sales are political and that the sales budget will be used for his presidential crusade.
“GodBlessTheUSABible. com is not political and has nothing to do with a political campaign” and “is not owned, controlled, or controlled through Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC, or any of their respective officers or affiliates,” it says.
However, sales can still help you continue your evangelical base.
“We want America to pray again,” Trump said on Truth Social. He announced the Easter sale.
“As we approach Good Friday and Easter, I inspire you to get your hands on a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible,” the announcement reads.
Trump expects to raise $33 million for his campaign through the end of next week.

He’s hosting an event in West Palm Beach, Florida, that is expected to be attended by major donors to the Trump campaign. For many Republican donors who didn’t support Trump in the primary, this could be the first time they’ve donated money to the previous president.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $814,600. By comparison, some of the most expensive Super Bowl tickets cost $125,000.
