But in retrospect, Trump is right on each and every major foreign policy issue. It is the accredited elites who have made a mistake!

Here are Trump’s top six:
OUR LONG BIDEN NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS ALMOST OVER. TRUMP INVICTUS IS NOW RELEASED
For decades, the consensus view was that if the United States helped China’s economic growth, it would be a friendly trading partner and would respect regulations, like Japan, South Korea and European countries. Trump disagreed. Experts laughed when he claimed that China had let us down for decades. “China has attacked our factories, offshored our jobs, destroyed our industries, stolen our intellectual assets and violated its commitments under the World Trade Agreement. ”
As recently as 2019, Joe Biden mocked the idea that China could overtake the United States as a world leader, telling the crowd in Iowa City: “Is China going to eat our lunch? Come on, man. The experts were wrong. Trump is right.
Long before he ran for president in 2015, Trump learned that recent advances in oil and fuel production would be a strategic turning point for the United States and the world. When President Barack Obama left office, the value of a barrel of oil was $120 and experts warned that the world was running out of oil.
TRUMP CAN POWER THE US INTO THE FUTURE WITH A MUSCULAR NUCLEAR ENERGY POLICY
Trump’s embrace of the US energy sector has boosted US production and driven oil down to $40 a barrel. This not only stimulated ordinary economic expansion in the United States, but also devastated the economies of Russia and Iran, as those countries needed a source of oil. with a value of more than 90 dollars a barrel to finance their governments. When their energy export revenues fell by about two-thirds during the Trump years, Russia and Iran were forced to tighten their belts; They may simply not be expensive wars.
Biden reversed Trump’s power politics and, unsurprisingly, oil costs rose to $100 a barrel. Iran used those providential profits to fund its nuclear program and arm its proxies to attack Israel. Russia has used its newfound wealth to attack Ukraine. explanation of why Russia invaded Ukraine under the presidencies of Obama and Biden, but not under Trump. During the Trump years, they had no money to fund expensive wars.
Democrats and Republicans supported the Afghan and Iraq wars for 20 years. Trump disagreed. As early as 2003, he called the Iraq war “a mess.” Turns out he was right. We shed American blood and spent trillions on two unwinnable, forever wars.
THE THREAT FROM RADICAL ISLAM IS NOW INSIDE OUR GATES. BIDEN IGNORED IT. TRUMP MUST ACT
Trump withdrew from Obama’s Iran nuclear deal because it enriched Iran and did not impede its nuclear weapons program. He ordered the assassination of General Qassam Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Quds Force. Instead of endless, fruitless negotiations, Trump set out to bankrupt Iran with his power politics and oil sanctions.
When Trump left office, Iran was on the brink of bankruptcy and its allied militaries were weakening. But President Biden has given Iran a lifeline. He changed course on American energy production, paid billions to Iran and refused to impose sanctions. Iran used this $100 billion providence to finance Hamas and Hezbollah in new proxy wars against Israel.
For decades, U. S. leaders have said that we will accept the Palestinian challenge as a first step toward a broader Arab-Israeli peace. But time and again the Palestinians refused to negotiate seriously, so peace proved elusive.

Trump took the opposite approach, and focused on Arab-Israeli peace as the first step. His energy policies lowered global oil prices. Arab leaders realized they could no longer count on oil export revenues alone to fund their government. They needed to diversify their economies, which required peace with Israel.
Trump also signaled that the younger generation of Arab leaders, savvy about the West and comfortable in more open societies, would be receptive to radical social renewal and advancing economic ties with Israel. The Abraham Accords were the first peace agreements ever concluded between Israel and the Sunni Gulf states. Trump succeeded where all experts had failed for decades.
American presidents since John F. Kennedy have complained that our NATO allies are not paying their fair share for our customary defense. Obama called them “freeloaders. ” Our allies have always made excuses, claiming that they would not pay the 2% of GNP that they had promised and that they were counting on the United States to foot the bill for their defense.

Trump harassed, reprimanded, and threatened them until our NATO allies finally increased their defense spending. Turns out, they had the cash after all.
For years, Washington bureaucrats, politicians, and pundits have dealt with major foreign policy issues facing the country. It took an outsider who saw things from another perspective. Instead of endless rounds of fruitless international relations and an open checkbook, Trump used a mix of trade, economics and common sense to repair American security. And his second term will be even better.
