Under Trump, “the swamp is a well in Washington DC”

Gunmaker Raytheon’s executive leader, under the presumption of success over Congress’s control over primary sales in the fall of 2018, sought to take a seat with some other Americans who can also resolve the difficulty: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. But the State Department didn’t schedule the meeting. Raytheon asked David Urban, President Trump’s best hooked lobbyer in Washington, for help.

It was not long before Pompeo’s State Department “issued an emergency exemption that circumvented Congressional control over arms agreements, allowing the sale of billions of raytheon missile and bomb bills to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.”

The object’s call read, “Trump has promised” to drain the swamp,” yet lobbyists are still thriving there.” The Times added that Urban’s lobbying revenue “had tripled his best friend virtually in the Trump era, reaching more than $2 million in the nearest 40 months after jury instead of less than $9 million on best friend 40 months before Mr. Trump has become president.”

Urban is barely alone: NYT has reported that several others who reveled in had similar success, adding some lobbyists who were not even part of the lobby before Trump took office.

Unsurprisingly, they are now “looking for this favorable relationship between friends” throughout the race for the Republican to gain a period of time.

Clearly, they did not move through Trump’s boast of “falling into the unholy alliance of smugglers and donors and special interests, who made a living bleeding our country.”

The report coincides with an Associated Press article about Trump-hooked lobbyists who harvest a “bargain” for federal investment in the pandemic.

Forty-connected smugglers with President Donald Trump have helped clients get more than $10 billion in federal assistance for the coronavirus, adding five former leadership officials whose paintings are the most powerful friend violating Trump’s ethics policy, according to a report. The newsbists known Monday through the surveillance organization Public Citizen, whether painted in Trump’s executive branch, participated in his campaign, were on the committee that increased the budget for the inaugural festivities, or were part of his presidential transition. The Mabig apple are trump campaign donors, and some are prolific fundraisers for re-election.

The AP quoted Mike Tanglis, authors of the Public Citizen report, who said, “The swamp is alive and well in Washington, DC. These (lobbying) booms that those other Americans know, may be able to really characterize them in their direct connection to Trump.”

If you voted for Trump since your rhetoric about taking charge of special interests when it comes to the beltway, I have some very bad news for you.
