Thousands of people waited to welcome former President Donald Trump with a standing ovation long before he stepped up to the level in front of a sign that read, “Minnesota is Trump country,” at 7:33 p. m.
Trump smiled as the crowd pumped their fists and chanted “USA, USA, USA. ”

STREET. CLOUD — In his speech Saturday night, Republican vice presidential nominee J. D. Vance wasted no time in lashing out at President Joe Biden, calling him one of the worst presidents in United States history. The crowd in St. Cloud responded by shouting, “United States!
Trump showed he was better up to the task than Biden in the June debate, Vance said. Vance claimed that the media covered up Biden’s incompetence for approximately four years.
“We were told Joe Biden was Abraham Lincoln, and now they say Kamala Harris is Martin Luther King Jr. ,” Vance said. “She’s a member of her crazy friends’ map of San Francisco. United States will no longer be fooled by the lies of the media. “”.
He went on to claim that Harris is to blame for the worst border crisis in the country’s history, referencing the vice president’s time as border czar. Vance went on to claim that Harris voluntarily let 10 million undocumented people into the country.
Everything would be replaced if Trump were elected, Vance said.
“I have a very undeniable message for the millions of illegal extraterrestrial beings in this country: if you are here, start packing your bags now because Donald J. Trump will be the next president,” Vance said.
In addition, Trump would complete the border wall, he said.
He also said Harris was looking for more criminals on the streets, referring to a false claim that Harris donated protesters’ bail budget to the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests that erupted across the country after the killing of George Floyd.
“Other Americans will never elect a crackpot liberal from San Francisco like Kamala Harris,” Vance said.
Frank told MPR that the fund’s project is to keep low-income defendants in pretrial detention so they can prepare their defense from home, just like those who have the financial means to pay bail or bail contract.

Republican presidential candidate Trump is expected to arrive at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in a motorcade.
Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. J. D. Vance, is currently running neck and neck with Herb Brooks.

United States District 6 Rep. Tom Emmer spoke in front of Trump and Vance, saying the July 13 assassination attempt had only strengthened the Republican Party. He was greeted with applause when he called for Minnesota to move to the red list for the first time in nearly a century.
He then directed his to Vice President Kamala Harris.
“It’s no secret that the Biden/Harris administration has wreaked havoc on our wonderful state,” Emmer said. “Now that Harris is the nominee, she only represents his failed policies, represents his general acceptance of the radical club in his party. “
Emmer addressed the rumor that Harris could be Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as his running mate, calling the potential move a mistake.
Walz will turn the Minnesota Harris home into California, Emmer said.
“Walz is an empty suit that should not be allowed near the White House,” Emmer said. “There is only one solution to involve Walz in the Harris administration: electing J. D. Vance and Donald Trump in November. “
The Trump Jet (Tracking) account published that J. D. Vance (N917XA) landed at St. Cloud Regional Airport at around 12:45 p. m.
The airport’s parking lot and surrounding streets were closed the day before by police.
A steady stream of attendees filtered through.
Many wear the red baseball cap that reads “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” that Trump is known for. Others carry the American flag or a Trump flag on their shoulders as a cape. What’s more, she brings some of the products they bought while they were queuing. Overall, the crowd took on a patriotic tone as the colors red, white and blue stood out in the stands.

Volunteers can be recognized in the field through their uniforms of red hats, white shirts and khaki pants. They stand at the entrances and other people find a seat or receive wristbands if necessary.
Applause spread through the crowd when attendees saw Royce White, Republican candidate for the United States Senate, near the stage. Sporadic applause and whistles erupted as he made his way to his seat.
White opposes Sen. Amy Klouchar, D-Minn. , who has held the seat since 2007.

Numerous heat-related incidents have been reported outside the Herb Brooks Center, according to the local police traffic scanner.
The total number of heat-related incidents lately is unknown.

Special visitors, others who paid to sit in a box at the level, began arriving at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. General admission doors opened at 3 p. m.
A murmur of passionate verbal exchange echoes through the structure as other people begin to take their seats. The sound was temporarily mixed with the music, adding songs like “Macho Man” by the Village People and “The Winner Takes It All” by ABBA, playing through the speakers.
The ice on the rink melted, allowing Trump’s crusade to cover the ground with folding chairs of white plastic. The center has 6,000 seats but can accommodate up to 8,000 people, according to SCSU officials.
The facility’s monitors are lit up in blue with “TRUMP VANCE 2024” in large letters.
Outside the arena, the rally begins a few blocks before the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Temporary department stores promoting Trump products and parked cars line the streets leading to the rally.
His supporters can be seen chasing T-shirts with the presidential candidate’s face and words like “Never give up” or “Make United States great again. “
Closer to the hockey rink, a line of at least 3 or 4 more people, forcing other people to stand on the sidewalk near passing cars, surrounds the grassy area in front of downtown. People promoting T-shirts, hats, and other Trump products are passed back and forth.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the St. John Police Car Cloud are clustered near the access points. They are also scattered around the line of other people waiting to enter. Black Secret Service cars are stopped near the front of the building.

Local emergency services brought ice packs to others waiting in line in 90-degree heat this afternoon.
Due to the sweltering heat, some people huddled under umbrellas while others took off their shirts.
The doors of Herb Brooks are scheduled to open at p. m.
There will be no street parking on Fifth Avenue S today, based on symptoms along the street. The order comes from the Saint-Cloud police department.
Several attendees told St. Cloud LIVE that Trump’s rallies are a social event. This is the case of Gary Beckel, a resident of Minneapolis.
Beckel, the St. Cloud rally would be the fifth. Although he hopes that the St. John’s is a success. Cloud “is nothing special,” he has walked more than 60 miles for a social event.
David Ray, of St. Cloud, and his daughter April, were released Saturday morning.

Another merchant said he was from Columbia, South Carolina, and had traveled for the event.
Supporters of Royce White, a candidate for United States Senate in Minnesota, attended Saturday morning. White is a Republican in the race.
Scott Brodeen, candidate for St. Cloud City Council, was present and showed signs of selling his campaign.
Trump will arrive at St. John. Cloud Regional Airport and walk in a motorcade to the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
The city of St. Cloud announced this morning an updated list of road closures ahead of the Trump rally, according to a news release.
Closed intersections
The University Drive South and Ninth Avenue South intersections will remain open. The intersection of University Drive and Kilian Boulevard closed on July 17, according to officials.
Lines for Donald Trump’s rally began to wrap around the Herb Brooks Center around 8 a. m. m. , according to the event volunteers.
