HANOI – Vietnam’s Ministry of Health reported the country’s death via COVID-19 on Friday night.

The 61-year-old man died Friday afternoon at a hospital in Danang City, where Vietnam last week detected his first coronavirus infections in the country in more than 3 months, the ministry said in a statement.
