President Trump is holding a press conference Wednesday afternoon, his time in two days after speaking Monday that he would resume daily briefings led through the White House Crownvirus Working Group. Trump’s emergence occurs when coronavirus times continue to increase in several states.
Trump replaced his message about the importance of wearing a face mask in recent days, tweeted a photo of himself wearing a mask Monday and said Tuesday’s mask “has an impact.”
“Whether you prefer the mask or not, they have an impact,” Trump said at his briefing Tuesday. He later added that “he’ll gladly use it, no problem.” The president resisted a giant component dressed in a mask in public for months and had minimized its importance, noting in an interview with CBS News last week that fitness experts first begged Americans not to cover their faces.
It is not transparent whether Mr. Trump can be accompanied through members of the coronavirus special force on Wednesday. He gave the lok in the grandstand only his performance on Tuesday, even though he said the working group member, Dr. Deborah Birx, was “right outside” as he spoke.
