Zelensky says Putin ‘scared’ of negotiations at end of Ukraine War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that Vladimir Putin was “afraid” of negotiations on ending the Ukraine War, after the Russian president ruled out direct talks with his Ukrainian counterpart.

“Today, Putin has shown that he is afraid of negotiations, scared of strong leaders and is doing everything imaginable to prolong war,” Zelensky published in X.
